Just voted. I am disappointed by IEBC. I had confirmed as a voter that I was to vote at ACK Kahawa Sukari. My Card was reading Ndiini/ACK and when I got an SMS confirming my polling station is ACK, I thought I had done my part of confirming registration details as was required.

Today I went to ACK and after an hour on the line, I was advised to go to Ndiini. Now, I never imagined Ndiini and ACK were two different centers.

Finally got to the polling station and disappointed because the whole thing is manual. No electronic confirmation of voter, no computer or any electronic gadget on site. It was even more difficult to locate the voter names than the last register. From my observation, this thing can be rigged. Other than having an up to date register, there is no difference from the last election.

We wasted huge resources on nonsensical electronic voter registration.

So true. Am so proud of my motherland. For once they have poured out to vote despite the mrc threat. And am not talking about the metroplitan centres ati kina mombasa, malindi et al. Am talking of mashinani. All my relatives calling in to report this. Makofi to coast province!
