@simon.....wote may be having a point......we need to find out how true what he says is and all that, then make a judgement

@wote.....every one is human and human is to mistakes.....if the fellow made mistakes that is forgivable........so do your allegations constitute mistakes or intended actions? LAKINI @WOTE DONT LOOK FOR AN ANGEL,WE MAY HAVE TO COMPROMISE......

Kingfisher,i think i like sober guys like yourself. You see Kenya has alot of good human being who are actually nobody's Just because the chose to live an honesty life nobody ever notices them. So why should we be forced to hero worship modern day Robinhoods.

I said history is very important because if we cared a little bit we would have discovered Prudential was transit point for our dear tax payers money disppearance during Moi's era. These are facts within the Public domain.

What about the Ojijo road Kenya Railways land/houses,even that fellow Kenyans do not remember.or they do not want to remember.

I personally and sincerely without any reservations propose Ms Jacinta Mwatela as my candidate for 2012. Like i said facts should speek for themselves if any one has any dark spot on this lady we can share.

Peter Kenneth has actually improved the lives of people in his constituency. Good infrastructure has opened up the entire Gatanga for serious trade; Education standards have steadily risen since 2003 and Security is high - this is the place with the lowest Mungiki-related incidents in Central Kenya.

His tenure Kenya Re was considered a turnaround period and the changes he instituted then are still in place now.

His 4 year appointment as KFF chairman (1996 - 2000) witnessed the greatest change in that beleagured institution. He revived the youth football programme and convinced the private sector to get back into football sponsorship - EABL and BAT came in during his time. He handed over to the next chairman in 2000 and left a clean record and audited reports.

I think you should temper your comments with real facts and not innuendo.

What do you mean ' he started off as a low grade clerical official'? Are clerical positions now low grade? There are hundreds of thousands of Kenyans doing clerical jobs in all sorts of banks and there is nothing demeaning about it.

Peter Kenneth indeed worked at Prudential Building Society and worked his way up to a managerial position. He left Prudential long before it went down. It is unfair to infer that he was involved in its demise.

His record at KFF was impeccable if you would care to check. He left without controversy in 2000 when his term as Chairman came to an end. He did not seek to extend it and his handover included audited reports (a first in KFF).
He actually played for Re-Union Club and this is what got him into KFF (not being in Prudential).

His tenure at Kenya Re draws much admiration from the staff he worked with and government officials he dealt with. Again his record was impeccable and has not been called into question.

I will not comment on the Obama comparisons and Sally K (I cannot support that with facts and records).

However I will comment on your semi-illitrate comment - Peter Kenneth is a not a child of privilege,he grew up in Eastlands and used his brain and football skills to get into Starehe School. He is steeped in the traditions of that great institution and the values of the man they revered as the Director. He may very well be what we need as the change catalyst for this country.
I will also comment on 'ati Peter Kenneth'. Pray advise what is wrong with that name?

I was hoping Kenyans would come with different names apart from the ones that are on the list.

I am not arguing from facts, but are you sure Peter kenneth was in KFF in 1996-2000. I could have sworn it was the Cocacola guy (was he called Maina Kariuki?). Why do I think he was in KFF when I was much younger, like the early 90's or late 80's.

keep pimping him as a presidntial candidate, atleast he is better than Saitoti or Uhuru.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.
