I'm beginning to believe the adage that when a lie is repeated enough times then it starts to be regarded as the truth. Didn't the Kriegler commission after several months of investigation reveal that there was no proof of rigging at the tallying centre? And didn't if also tell us that both sides committed foul play at the voting centres? And didn't odm pledge to support the findings of the commission? Then why pray tell is pnu having to bear constant blame for their defence of Kibaki's win? Martha Karua was absolutely right to defend Mk's win. She has nothing to apologise for

I bet Kibaki is still trying to figure out who Martha Karua is and he also can't recollect clearly what the justice ministry does.

I guess if you can't win with facts,you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

Obako knows that Karua has no money hence cannot effectively challenge the status quo!!!!

@Mcgr

Sometimes,you would rather someone who has money but not the fighting spirit of Martha Karua if you are on the other side....

the person saying that she feared the motion is wrong. it wouldnt have gone through... dig out the support she had from the ODM side... PNU couldnt have gone far with it,trust me.... main reason being,what Karua was fighting for was going to be very useful to ODM come 2012 - reforms in judiciary... if she won that battle,then they were assured of somewhat 'fair and free' elections... though she may have done it because of her presidential ambitions,ODM was also going to benefit from a better platform and bearing in mind their strong presence all over the country,they would have benefited more... as it is,even ODM knows a 'free and fair' elections in Kenya today is still a dream until something happens in our judicial and electoral systems.

Skerians,

my 2 cents....I can only borrow from @BTimer.

His analysis is real.Others are fake and based on tribalism and blindness in politics.

Karua's problems have no relationship with Kibaki's leadership....whether good or bad.
It has everything to do with her competitors and number one being the male collegues from central...read Uhuru,Saitoti etc.Others include Kalonzo and Ruto.my hypothesis is that Raila is playing his game and the best person to use is Karua and thats why they are dancing the same tune......kill Major Gen,CJ and others.

Appointments in Judicially.....she frustrated Gicheru and President the last hour in 2006 even after NSIS vetting of the appointees...reason coz she had personal vedetta with Abida Aroni....

Karua is not a reformer but a dictator in the making..........
reason...remember the 2004 and 2005 writing of the constitution.....she blocked all the sections that could have brought reforms to judicially,police and presidency....
my question...why now.....

The writings are on the wall.their fallout with arap milosevic was becoz she wanted an alliance in pretext to shield the arap milosevic from corruption cases.

Karua is not sincere but a sycophant and greedy....dictator in the making and an EMOTIONAL politician.
