Hardware Failure??!! Thats hogwash. You can save all the stories on a flash disk, rush down to a cyber cafe and upload them on the BD website in less than 30 minutes!!

Almost funny, but very sad. I guess online biz is too small for the paper to warrant such a long outage. One day they'll understand why mirror sites are a must. Sack that IT manager.

Or it makes those who want free news to go & buy the newspaper. I betcha NMG is monitoring the sales of the physical copies to see how many 'additional' copies have been sold since the online outage. I expect a paid site to come up soon. They have 'full' newspapers which I have subscribed to but they are unwieldy given high internet prices [data bundles] and small screen devices.

Employees in Kenya have this sense of entitlement my guess is he still wakes up in the morning to go to work and leaves at 5 like the rest. The other day the problem was a malware, now system failure. And life is expected to stop? I think they still have no numbers on how much web advertising brings

Day 4 and counting as BD and DN online blackout continues. Or did we complain too much about some of the poorly written articles that it hit a nerve smile
