At the risk of spreading unconfirmed rumours from nameless people:-Word out there is that all this Shenanigans are the work of the evil society led by Maina Kiai. They are the mystery tallying centre and the figures shared from Alai are from them.They are the ones feeding Babu and the gang to reject.Maybe some international NGOs are looking for some job to do in Africa/Kenya. Why is Raila refusing to concede? Can he get the backing of the remaining presidential contenders?
As @limanika has shared with us, we may be looking at the effects of momentum and institutionalization of Raila as the leader of the opposition.
We may be about to witness- for the lucky enough to remain alive - a sad ending of a political era/error?
There must be a war of sorts it seems, I can only hope the victors in these elections can win this war with the least violence.
Maybe this is a turn for the good, where unlimited warfare is to be part of party ideology.
