PERSONAL STATEMENT.

I have spent the last three hours going through numbers until my head is spinning.

I want to be the first person to confirm that indeed NASA has lost. We have lost. The figures may be inaccurate but the voting trend is clear.

I am looking at the MP seats and Jubilee has snatched 3 in Ukambani. Langata may be gone to Jubilee although Makadara and Women rep will compensate.

Its been a good fight. For me its an incredible experience.

Now can we all go to sleep.

Jubilee are taking 3 seats in Nyamira. Ni pesa ya IDPs in works ama ni nini?

Seems the turnout was around 78.4%. Meaning the passmark is 7.67M. UR 880k out.

I'm out. Was a good fight but seems the tyranny is still intact even without my vote.

Hope for prosperity for KE next 15 years.

....as we waiting for H.E. Sonko the Chemist.

PK performing as expected. He is at 2.7%. He should run for a MCA in 2022.

Oh my I left this thread at page 10. I have 13 pages to go through. I had no dog in this race so I was not going to lose sleep either way it went.

Post election analysis

1. Baba has no clear path to victory. Baba has earned his retirement. The generation of multi-party activists are like Moses and his generation in the bible. They went through the wilderness but never got to see Canaan.

2.Baba's lost a lot of ground in his traditional strongholds including with mashemeji. His campaign team focused on the wrong swing counties Kajiado and Narok and ended up scoring own goals in Western, Coast.

3. It looks like "stay at home brigade" did quite well. Turnout was not as high as 2013 so a lot of Kenyans disappointed with the political class. Same forest, same monkeys very boring elections. Actually turnout looks around 65% one of the lowest. Future swing vote, i reckon.

4.Corruption was a non-issue in this elections. I quite can't understand why Baba's team spent so much time on it. The issue was a generational fatigue with the activist politics even Boniface Mwangi now understands this. Baba wasted the campaigns doing a 90's throw-back session street protests, running battles, press-conferences. It worked in the 90's but not today.

5. Just like the Game of thrones, the fight between House Kenyatta and House Odinga has come to the final season. Now a new series House of Card starts William Ruto and the succession politics of 2022

6. We are a nation of hustlers/hasoras struggling to survive. We all want to get back to hustling and move on with our lives. There was minimal emotional investment in this elections.

I have seen someone on FB saying that the results for UMK are simply arrived at by multiplying RAO's numbers by a constant factor of 1.258.

He has allegedly checked with updates through the night and that factor is constant

All updates are there online right from the beginning. Let's confirm the alleged constant factor.

Anyone with the figures from the Political Party's tallying centers? Would be good to compare with the IEBCs figures
