@nostopping...I know that's the only thing gooners look forward to, another team doing what gunners can't do...anyway, we look forward to a 3rd final appearance in 4 years - I just hope this time it's not just an appearance and that SAF remembers well the lessons of the 2009 final. See you on Sunday

....their pain even gets compunded when they remember that they have only been to one final in their entire lifetime!!!

............It gets even more heartbreaking when they realise that a nondescript club like Nottingham Forest have won the champions league.

Sasa what does Arsenal have to do with all these.....we were knocked out na tukanyamaza. Possibility of a Man Utd Vs Barca Final are very high now....i just hope it will be competitive this time.

which is? I thought i'm targetting watching a clean game between ManU-gu and Barca devoid of refree mistakes, so that the outcome is not contested on this forum ama?

LIONEL MESSI - 23 YRS OLD

2010 - 2011 STATISTICS

League App 30 goals 31 Assist 17
Cup App 7 goals 7 Assist 3
S. Cup App 2 goals 3 Assist 0
C. L App 11 goals 11 Assist 3
Total 50 52 23

I think we should just give him the FIFA Player of the year now, hakuna haja ya all those other formalities.

"If I tell Uefa what I really think and feel, my career would end now," Mourinho said. "Instead, I will just ask a question to which I hope one day to get a response: why? Why? Why Ovrebo? Why Busacca? Why De Bleeckere? Why Stark? Why? Because every semi-final the same things happen. We are talking about an absolutely fantastic football team, so why do they need that? Why? Why does a team as good as they are need something [extra] that is so obvious that everyone sees it?

"Why Ovrebo [two] years ago [when the Norwegian referee did not give Chelsea a series of penalties against Barcelona]? Why couldn't Chelsea go to the final? Last year it was a miracle that Inter got there playing with 10 men for so long. A miracle. Why weren't there four penalties against Chelsea [in 2009]? Why send off [Arsenal's Robin] Van Persie [in the last 16]? Where does their power come from?

Guess who they will try to get sent off in the final*. Rafael!!! If he plays in the final, I hope SAF gives him a serious talk before the game. They might also try to get Vidic sent off but he's far too smart for them. If Scholes plays he will be an easy customer also.

*I am not discounting the fact that we still have a return match against Schalke on Wednesday. I just don't see them turning table on United.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Here's what i don't get and the same was also brought up by the match commentators, WHY was Mourinho defending at home (first leg) yet they needed to score first. Last season Inter Milan thrashed Barca at San Siro which gave them a big advantage going into the second leg at Nou Camp. If you ask me it was Barca who played well defensively than Real and they still managed to control possession.

It's simple. Away goals. 0 - 0 at home and hope for a scoring draw away. Barca gets an away goal against you and you are toast.

Mourinho's tactic - which I hate - almost paid off. Without the red card, he might just have got his 0 - 0.

My mistake @nostoppingthis...

@Taz, it doesn't matter what tactics Mourinho employs to win...if he wants to defend at home and snatch a goal at Nou camp then so be it - there's no blue print to winning
