Yes, out there with Mutahi Kagwe fighting the virus solos. The rest are MIA.

Coincidentally, the much anticipated 21st March Jam session "Reggea" in Nakuru has quickly turned to a National prayer day in State house on the same day. Am sure UMK must be smilling deep within his heart as the BBI had taken a different course from his original script. Politically speaking, anything that could stop Reggea was welcome as long as it doesn't paint him in a bad light. I have a feeling he will drop the Reggea in totality during and post COVID-19.

It has been almost two weeks gone without political pollution. Amazing how Kenya is an amazing place when politicians have no vitriol to puke to the public. They are clueless in times of Crisis. This Corona thing has quarantined us from politicians for real.Dont be surprised to hear politicians declaring Corona a party soon.

From the Muchene Column of The Star

Quote:
The outbreak of Covid-19 in Kenya is an unfortunate occurrence but it seems to be a blessing in disguise for two governors from Mt Kenya region.

Reason?

The two county bosses were overheard on Monday telling a businessman of Asian origin at a hotel in the region that they were coerced by the powers that be to back the Building Bridges Initiative against their wishes.

The source who overheard them as they conversed heartily, said the governors' break from the BBI rallies was a big relief for them.

This is because they were also under pressure to support public rallies with county resources.

Noooooo, not so fast! Uhuru doesn't get a pass from the monster that he created. Unless you are saying he doesn't have powers. He allowed BBI rallies to go on, as platforms to disparage anyone who had a divergent opinion. If he didn't sanction the vitriol in BBI rallies, why didn't he stop them or redirect the discourse?

Stay safe from Corona so you can be alive to receive vitriol reloaded once te Corona cloud pandemic is over.
I am happy

No wonder Raila is very quiet. It's bad manners to speak while you are eating.
