From musicians to actors to comedians and everyone in between. In the west, it's totally different. There are very successful musicians for example who rarely ever write their own songs. Several award winning writers who have never performed etc. Then there is a whole management crew. You as the artist concentrates at what you are best at. In Kenya, there are so many funny people who either can't stand in front of a crowd, don't have stage presence, don't have the name, too old, too young or simply are not willing to leave their current jobs to become full time comedians! Tap this pool and let them write for you at a fee. Njung'e for example wouldn't mind writing for him like ten good jokes a month at fee. The money would help him service the standing order to his mechanic for bijuti repairs! @Maich, spot on. these guys need to get script writers for their shows. also something that lacks with Kenyan shows is long term thinking. for instance, does the churchill show have working plans for say 3,-5 or 6 seasons?? or will it die a slow death like Redykyluss or Red Korner? thats why Eric's show was a total mess...
