Just do the total of all the registered voters in the region's affected, assume they all voted for a different candidate from the one who won. If the results wouldn't tilt the results from the constitutional figure of 50+1 n 25 pc of half of the constituencies, then announce the winner.

Much respect to the Akamba nation for turning up to vote peacefully. Now it will be easy to isolate baba and his Kavirondo Rebel Movement and deal with the goons decisively.

There's a misconception being preached by the NRA, that all votes not cast belong to baba. They forget that:

1) Baba was on the ballot so his votes can be counted.

2) Low voter turn out was expected since thus was a walkover match. Even if Real was to play Barcelona and Barcelona announces that they will not turn up, you don't expect Real fans to to fill the stadium to watch a walk over.

3) Votes not cast are not counted.

BBI will solve it

There were 7 presidential candidates. Therefore if 1 out of the 7 throws tantrums, shauri yake. Makelele ya one chura won't stop kenya from kunywa maji.

Actually, the constitution is not explicit on this but it is provided in the elections Laws(amendment) Act 2016.Section 18 states inter alia....

Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, the Commission may, if satisfied that the result of the elections will not be affected by voting in the area in respect of which substituted dates have been appointed, direct that a return of the elections be made.

The rebel kavirondo counties have just 1.3m votes. Therefore if in today's election Ohuru beats baba by 1.3m+1 votes, then Ohuru will be declared president. There won't even be a need to conduct a rerun in Ojingastan. #BondoExpress.

The presiding officer on this form has filed number of registered voters as 000. It is not possible to eradicate clerical errors 100%.

This is Maraga's polling center btw......maybe giving him grounds for another silly annulment.

According to IEBC as at 5.00pm estimated turnout was 48% .... That's about 9.4 million voters.... Assuming 19.6 registered voters.
