My friend private companies, government institutions all have a retirement age because a person over 75 has a rapidly shrinking brain and infact is living on borrowed time!

No reason why such a person should become Head of anything let alone a state..

Wow, that's a hard one!

Its not hard its the truth.

I have watched my grandfather age and trust me he is not the same guy we grew up seeing. He is no longer the head of the home in terms of decision making and leadership. And he is older than RAO by only 8 years

If history is anything to go by, even in 2027 he will vie. That's why we need age limit, people need to rest at some point, and pass mantle to fresh blood. Otherwise akina Ababu will also get their chances in their 70s and 80s, this will be a vicious cycle

Cord will then introduce the ethnic angle limiting the presidency to one tribe only with a maximum of one term backdated to 2013.
My take let people fight it out in the field ata if wants to try at 90 no problem smile

Too bad CORD are mere spectators in Parliament!

meanwhile, the National Assembly debates the very important matter on who is entitled to which ceremonial title and to the use of sirens..

What one clever thing is jubilee doing with its tyranny in parliament?

From conversations I read and hear, I think there's a general overestimation on the power of a referendum.

Some of the things being proposed are in contradiction to provisions within the constitution e.g. the Bill of Rights. Even if they are passed in a referendum, there is a big probability they will be directly/indirectly nullified by the Supreme Court. A referendum that allocates e.g. 99% of revenues to the counties might be thrown out even if it passes. Also things like age or ethnicity limits are going nowhere IMHO. They will open a complex pandoras box where e.g. definitions of ethnicity become hazy for persons with blood from 5 or 6 different communities. It could descend into messy DNA analysis that will probably end up disqualifying every candidate from contesting.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

Hippo-Crates!!!! Jubilee sycophants are not any different from what they accuse Raila of. LIARS and HYPOCRATES.

Most, if not all, of these Jubilee guys and chicks here were Kibaki Damu Team, and none of them mentioned age limit or senility then, now, since its their opponent in the picture, AGE LIMIT is the in thing.

Poor man. Eat, sleep, drink, dream president.
Someone should tell him that he lost it for good when he was played by Kibs in the 2007 elections.

BBI will solve it

FACT: Your grandfather was a poor peasant farmer and chang'aa taker for his entire life while @RAO was born and raised in a high class family, he drunk and still drinks fine wine and good beer, he eats well and have a superb medical cover!
You cant compare the two even if you had a borrowed pea-sized brain.
