Its death we fear. Death in Africa is shrouded with mystery, myths and innuendos. In Africa, people do not just die, they are either killed or cursed. Death in Africa is not really a part of life, it is a consequence of something not done or done, a curse from an unknown ancestor, a punishment...Graves are evil places where demons reside, wear fear corpses more than a gun flashing thug, yet a corpse can harm no nigger! In brief, anything that can cause death is avoided, just in case there is a curse on the way. You don't wanna accelerate it.

IT'S ABOUT TIME! How can a whole continent that has the second largest land mass be beaten by two countries? China and India individually have more people than all the 57 countries and territories of Africa.

that generalisation, am sorry to say, is utter crap. seems the movies of a black person running away from danger while the white one running towards it to help has had some effect on your view of africans. and ironic coming from a guy who is always at the forefront of shouting for africans to stop thinking negatively about themselves.

I do think White folks fear pain. They are often asking if one suffered when dying, "was it painful, did he/she suffer". That's when you want to sel a story of an African dictator, just tell them of how he cooks people alive after chopping off their hands.Drone pap.
If you stay ready, no need to get ready.

1. An african attempts a feat and gets injured in the process,we call him dumb and silly. We bury them in shame and forget about them fast.
A white dude attempts the same, ends up dead and we hear that a champion/daredevil/hero died.
We make a foundation in memory.

2. Whites love carrying cameras everywhere they go,they love memories meaning that a high % of the uploaded video clips comprising of feats are white made.
c'mon you hate yourselves too much..

3. How many black folks have the luxury of attempting such stunts in designated places?
Whites take entertainment/holidays very seriously unlike us who believe that a nyamchom trip down to naivasha with mpango is the ultimate holiday.
The other lot is busy toiling day and night to put bread on the table.Such things don't cross their minds.

4. You have a crazy rollercoster somewhere in vegas and want to tell us that that blacks fear heights?
Hii ni probability.

5. Bring the facilities closer home and make them affordable to wanjiku before you dare.

Now here is the diff.Blacks are curious, so they will attempt out of curiousity.'Inafeel aje','nini itafanyika tukitry' 'inaweza ua'? are the expected questions'
Whites on the other hand like accomplishing stuff,so they will be asking 'how many have done this before' 'will I feature anywhere? I want to break a record etc etc.

We have different drives.Msijihate sana.

sio kujihate... it's more poking holes in our culture. a black person raised in that jungu family will end up base jumping like everyone else it's just culture. (thus the categorization of this thread... UNDER CULTURE). If anyone is a keen observer my posts are usually under CULTURE coz I think it's the one thing that makes a civilisation do the things it does. p.s. culture is not traditions or those things people do in shags it's stuff that people do everyday of their lives.... CULTURE.

as you tafakari that... enjoy some Wingsuit Base Jumping smile smile smile

I have found myself flying like this in my dreams,it's the most amazing exp ever!
Not scary, worth a try, but such people often belong to some private club where they practice months in advance and that doesn't come cheap.

Now you need to grow around such environments to embrace skiing as a hobby then perfect it over time by doing outrageous stuff.

We are in the sahara. So what do we have?
Lakes-For fishing and not sports
Hills for- Caves/hiding ,Not hiking
We look at nature and think exploit instead of sports/adventure.

We are not sports oriented,we labour.Blame those who colonized us.smile
There must be a big shift in thinking first before we think about adventure.
