@impunity, do you care about the service or the paperwork? Let Mutua do it his way. What we need is results! There are those filing all that paperwork but have nothing to show. Probably self allowances and trips abroad. Mutua will face all sorts of wars because he has refused to be anybody's sycophant! This is the kind of guy who should run for president of this country. Kazi iendelee.

Today is historic! We have launched the fastest built Highway in Africa - 33 kms in 3 months and at a 1/3rd of cost.

The highway which will have potholes withing the first 3 months, faster than any other highway in Africa!

Do they come with warranties...? better that now than wait for a hundred years for one that will not chip out into pot holes..and it will always be a learning process may be it would be made into concrete in future in future budgets..reminds me of someone here who was equating a similar case to a Kibera resident refusing a Toyota because a Runda resident owns a Mercedes

The contract for the work was split into 11 lots with each contractor getting only 3kms. That way the work was done quickly but to the same standards[/quote]

Very true. Better such a road even if it lasts for a month than those promises of nitafanya nitafanya which finally become sitafanya. Let the residents enjoy while it lasts, the 100years one will be dome by the Ching Chong's when they will be going for the Kitui coal.

Go! Go! Mutua.

This is my favourite governor. I can't believe this is the same guy I couldn't stand as a garment spokesman!

Wht he's doing is the best in Kenyan standards. Even RAO was booed 2003 when he commenced most unique, cement road, Mbagathi Way.

It's better something than nothing.

But he has something to show. Others are eating on recurrent expenditure or returning money to treasury!
