The hatred on social media just tells how much Kenyan are tribal and full of hatred. If only Kenyans would end tribalism ans preach peace, then this country would be more peaceful than ever. Even thou baba and his people say the government is tribal, he is not any better and could probably be worse than the government itself. Lets stop tribal hatred!

We all want the country to succeed and be in harmony with itself. This cannot happen when we cant accept mistakes and take responsibility.

I just hope that the message going to the security chiefs all over the country is not to focus on CORD and ignore Al Shabab. Shooting ourselves in the foot doesn't begin to describe this... Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

What is most surprising is that NIS waarned that Al Shabaab would attack. Eyewitnesses say they saw Al shabaab, the Media crew who hid in a toilet (at a petrol station) on the night of massacre says they were Al shabaab. My relative who stays in Mpeketoni, and lost a kin, says ni Al shabaab. BUT our security, all the way to PORK only sees OAR in this???????? "Peace is our profession, War is our business" ...Unknown

Not to mention the taunting from Al Shabab over the deaths. A tribal thing would have killed all, women and kids - just ask PEV victims. But no, we have to stop RAO, even at the risk of looking like idiots. Asi! Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

Makerege didn't you write this just the other day? It is believed they were joined by their accomplices who were already in the town because witnesses said they saw more than 50 attackers."
Mpeketoni is a very small town, 50 heavily armed gunmen could easily have wiped out kila mtu including the police officers in the town. I'll repeat again, we need to deploy KDF ASAP!
@Swenani....Tribal cleansing??? Are you serious! I doubt those gunmen asked their victims to produce ID cards before opening fire. @TAZ, you rule that out: It looks more like MRC than Al Shabaab and a Kenyan affiar the 'Modus operandi' points at MRC; if it's true that they were separating men from women and then massacaring them them it's surely not an alshabaab thing!!!
