Again GOK set itself in a trap.

We went into Somalia to 'save' tourism and now the same mission has thrown tourism in the toilet Sad

GOK should have drastically increased patrols at the border, built a fence, border posts, recruitment etc

KDF invasion should have been the last resort!

And so you and your fellow terrorists are happy that tourists are leaving the country because of your activities?

did the embassy attacks in 98 ,the kikambala bombing, tourist abductions in lamu happen because we were in Somalia ?
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

None of the above attacks targeted Kenyans..

Embassy bombing targeted Americans, Kikambala targeted Israelis, and the tourists were foreign..

Ever since we involved ourselves with the Somalia invasion in 2011 attacks are focused on Kenyans!

90 Attacks in 3 years bwana...

The number of Kenyan civilians dead at the hands of Al Shabaab since 2011 is fast approaching 1,000 Sad

So when they issue advisories that their people should avoid certain crowded places, how about other nationals, are they less human? Why not ask everyone including kenyans to leave. Mombasa??

Anything so far from Mombasa Governor and Senator who were recently in the USA (with RAO) to meet various investors keen on partnering with the tourist destination county to spur growth on various sectors".

The Kenyans in those attacks were collateral damage. The real targets were the Americans and the Israelis.

Kweli we need the west for tourism. And its true Chinese may come to Kenya in large numbers but its true they are as mean as hell.

I shared an apartment with 2 Chinese girls on two separate occasions and am telling chumvi ama kibiriti ingeisha singetumia yake hata dot. It was the worst 3 months of my life. They are good for the road and railway projects but they make very bad tourists.

I think I was abused on another thread when I said that this gov't is killing tourism. I was told that they will face domestic tourism or something.

It is the terrorists and their sympathizers who are killing tourism. The terrorists were kidnapping tourists before KDF went into somaliya to restore order and stop the kidnappings.

jaggernaut, I beg to differ.

When we told you that something should have been done about those that looted from Westgate, you were here telling us we were blind. They were drinking water.

When we told you that the gov't should be more serious about the terrorism issue, we were given nyumba kumi, operation mulika walalo and Ole Lenku.

Now when I hear that the terrorism budget is 28 million, you have got to be kidding me.

We may be gullible kenyans but those tourists aren't.

Tell me what is a police commissioner supposed to do with a budget of 28 million. I've been against him but now I feel sorry for him.

First lady more than 100m, Kenya 28 million. You still think this is not a gov't fed problem?

Kenya has had terrorism attacks since independence. When was the last time you heard of gov't going to the extent of offering armed escort to their people to get out today?

Something is wrong.
