A story is told of 1st year class where a professor took his students to Chiromo mortuary for a class, he opened up one of the bodies, deeped his finger in the bdoy's anus and then licked it, he asked all the students to do the same given that medicine required a lot of courage....they all did the same, after that he told them that a medic must be very observant, he had inserted the index finger but licked the middle finger....two of the students never returned to that class!!!!

@siringi

Are some neurosurgeon's counted twice? smile

Dr Musau operated on a relative, he did a wonderful job and really reassure us that all will be well. And it turned out so. I will be forever grateful while in this world and when I move on to the next. God bless him.

someone i know is missing....Dr Kiboi, Julius Githinji ... and he is a good chap

Where is the one who operated on Baba's head?

Iko hapo juu, Dr. Oluoch Olunya wuod Ugenya!!!!

Sioni Dr Qureshi who should be among the best in the region. He fixed my overhead gasket when a clot had messed it up.

Seconded. Did a marvellous job on a young relative recently. Young man still on follow-up but doing well.

That was a very proud moment for us Kenyans. One of the surgeons said that there are about 16 of their kind in Kenya, and 12 works largely at KNH.

In general they are very few dotors in some of these specialities.Kenya has approximately 80 ophthalmologists ,60 orthopedic surgeons, proper urologists are less than 20 and 3 rheumatologists....of course majority of these guys are in Nairobi so people feel safe but ole wako kama huna insurance;utalia machozi ya mamba
