I am very surprised at how the media has managed to turn the public opinion against the KDF (through selective and biased reporting/analysis) despite the splendid job of rescuing many people from the mall and also ending the siege. And now, thanks to the wayward press, the only matter that the public is concerned about is that the soldiers drank a few bottles of beer at Artcaffe and also that that they took a few packets of cigarettes from the Nakumatt shelves while on their way out. Surely they needed some booze and some fags to cool their nerves after battling the alshabab in the mall and also after witnessing the scale of killings by the terrorists.

And KDF had every right to be at westgate since we were battling foreign terrorists, the same ones they have been fighting in Somalia.

Lest we forget, our boys did a great job as you can see...

The facts remain as follows:

1.KDF had no business being at westgate.They are not trained in close urban combat
2.KDF disrespected other security forces at westgate.
3.KDF shot 2 recce members and killed one.
4.KDF stole liquor at artcafe (that means they were half drunk during the time), they looted the stores and stole electronics, jewellery and money.
5. The KDF leadership deceived kenyans on the truth about what was happening at the mall.

So please @jaggernaut, don't infect us with the brainwash, KDF digraced kenyans and the victims of this terror attack!
