This reminds me of some illiterate grandmas from my shaqz who could read the bible in kalenjin. Try transferring the writtings to a paper or computer and they could not make head or tail.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

And were they able to read it in Kiswahili or english ?

Why would a parent subject his std 1 boy to public scrutiny/ridicule for the sake of promotion.
Some parents are busy relieving their dreams/goals through their kids by putting unnecessary pressure on the young ones to excel while forgetting that the biggest beneficiary is not the poor kid but the promoter.
Let Ryan go climb trees and ride tyres with his mates when schools close.Too much thinking may turn him into a psycho.

I think this was another rehearsed case akin to Pastor Njoro and Mwende.

I have heard about this training of the senses before. But I think Churchill should stick to comedy and leave magic tricks to others.

I got sceptical after he insisted that the lady who couldn't read even for 10K, not to close "that page" for the boy to read. So why that particular page? And why that particular newspaper? Why didn't he asked for any other random text from the crowd?

Did you notice that somebody from the crowd tried to raise the newspaper higher, but it was lowered immediately back to the line of sight?
Who has the clip? We will plot the line of sight and it will match the below

This is exactly what I thought the boy was doing. This was especially evident during the sorting of the coloured pegs, you could see the head was hunched back and the kid was peeping beneath the blinders.
It is a curious fact that of all the illusions that beset mankind, none is quite as curious as that tendency to suppose that we are mentally and morally superior to those who differ from us in opinion.

I've learnt to let the world be.

Jesus came around, told to perform miracles to prove he was God's son. After the miracles, he was called a prince of demons. People of that time didn't believe, heck Jews don't believe Him.

Yet, thousands of years later and far far away from Jerusalem we believe in Jesus.

Even if the boy were to be given a whole novel from Kathmandu to read and do it well, human beings of the days of Jesus Christ are the same to date.

I think the boy and the parent should be encouraged, you just never know what will come of it. Another Criss Angel?

If it was stage managed, time will tell but as of now, i encourage them.

Good to see I wasn't the only one who noted this.

I went for their training about 10years ago, was packed with corporate clients sending their managers (there was breweries, kenolkobil and standard or barclays and others) Kes 15,000/- per person(was quite a lot back then) for a two day training of some good facts, mixed with some lies, motivational hype, some crap guesswork here, some Buddhist ideas there, some christian principles here, substandard lunch for the cost. All mothers imagine their children are "very special", i cant blame the mum, it's all about inducing guys to part with money, but i think there should be limits, business needs a solid ground, and now after what i saw on t.v, i would never take a kid there, or recommend it to anyone. They still send me emails years later, the ka-lady who trained us landed a very senior (directors) position at NMG, however the only thing i remember about her training is asking us what one would use to wipe their arse if you found yourself in a toilet in mtito andei and there is no tp inside, and you've already shut, guys really laughed, but i found it totally thick, she said she would use a scratch card.
