I dont want to say that the media should always be hostile to the government of the day, but I am so worried for a democracy when the Media goes to bed with the government. Who then would check the government? I just hope and wish that they are genuine in this and they dont want to "buy" the media to their side.

Amesema mengi. The long and short being an explanation of why Government is not able to pay now.He has urged us to look at the Laptop issue holistically and not gadget only and not to tie it to teachers salos. He will not borrow to pay teachers but will borrow to invest in the laptop project. The support infrustracture and the whole works so to speak.

And he will not negotiate when they are on strike since they are disobeying court orders.

computer labs for every class in Kenya would be excellent. Laptops is a money making machine for someone out there.

Now can we train the trainers of these labs or will they end up like the chemistry labs in Kenya that died after the last frog I chingaad in the lab?

As for the press, they are too busy scripting another soft porn production.

This is a better move from @Kamwana...but then again, how many schools? How many computers per school? Compuer to pupil ratio?
