From the article below it seems you are not the only one who thinks so. I don't think it will be long before the media reports on where he's been "invited" next to give a keynote speech. Former VP na yeye ako China addressing an almost similar forum. Anyway i don't see anything wrong here, what else is there for them to do to remain politically relevant.

exactly, I don't know why guys hate on the former pm - not many are invited to such events, and him being given a nod ahead of many others shows that he has a lot to offer - kudos to him, he is a role model to all, he has suffered a lot and sacrificed a lot to get kenya where it is now, all those yaping don't know that they would not be able to express themselves freely was it not for rao, those tu cars and tu loans you are very proud of are as a result of rao.
so all of you hater shut up and give the old man his credit, he is a true selfless hero who deeply cares about the livelihoods of all kenyans.
