...... may be it would be better to let 'democracy' work here instead of waiting for volunteers.

The SK fraternity should propose names and the one mentioned most of the times is asked whether he/she would accept the peoples' vote ................

.... but should the moderator come from the 'members'? I don't think it is a good idea.

Why not put up 'democratic buttons' such as Delete This Post? Yes...No....then each one can only vote once....or a certain threshold leads to delete

I don't like the idea of an skerian controlling me like a class prefect

If they remove other discussions SK will become like mystocks=zero traffic,which means no advert revenue.FYI SK has never generated meaningful revenue and has been a great dissapointment to Knowing ltd.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

Me thinks,they should just pick the 1st 5 top contributors and make them moderators,these are people who're mostly online,have been around for long and will have time to moderate the forum! Anyway,lets see what ground shaking change the next 48hrs will bring for SK...
