Hassan says it is all votes cast including rejected votes, that's a position am sure jubilee will contest.

Unfortunately Hassan is right. No amount of argument can change this fact even if you go to the International Court of Justice. The word valid before cast would have rendered Hassan's interpretation incorrect but so far he is right.

How does he account for the following

It's not that simple I bet he has not thought about it. Some of the rejected votes were those for MP but put in presidential ballot. Why would such be factored in presidential tally?

True.Of the 200K spoilt votes,we can safely assume that only 30K presidential votes are spoilt!

They are all presidential votes because that is where they were cast!!![/quote]

Very correct interpretation.
IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

Nonsense. Any paper put in the presidential ballot box doesn't make it a ballot cast for a presidential candidate. It must be a presidential ballot.

That is what you think but you are wrong.Quote for me any law where it says it MUST be a presidential ballot. If you had the privilege of looking at the former form 16A,you would know what I mean.

In trying to answer the thread, umk needs to garner at least 4.3million votes to win. This is assuming an average 60pc voter turn out country wide. Given that there are 14.3 registered voters, 60 pc of this is 8.58m and 50pc threshold to win is 4.29m. Question is, out of the remaining ballots can he get the final 1.7 million votes? We wait and see

We have gone from 80% to 70% to now 60% turnout.

I'm not following the numbers live, but is there indications of this?

60pc has been found to be the average voter turn out in elections world wide. Meanwhile Cord and Jubilee seen to be playing poker. Neither wants to show their hand and reveal key results that could easily change the dynamic. Jubilants are hanging on stubbornly to results from the rift while Cord, the coast. Hassan needs to stamp his authority now. They're wasting our precious time

Someone please explain to me, what do we mean parties are withholding results from certain areas?! How are they involved, isn't it IEBC officials in control of this part of the process?!

That said, jubilee's silence is just too loud! They need to keep touch with their support base at times such as this, unless they don't care about the runoff! Cord has spoken
