This Bensouda has now confirmed that she is NOT a prosecutor but an ICC politician.
Why do i say this? If there is evidence that the witness lied to the ICC, and she is serious that she knows and understands her work in the OTP, she should be preferring charges on this false witness for misleading the ICC, instead of politicking in the press. This is what the ROME statute states. Just ask yourself. How will politicking in the press assist her case?

If she has evidence that someone bribed the witness, she should be preferring charges against the bribe giver and taker for subverting justice.

However, she will not, because she KNOWS these charges are contrived. She inherited a political case from Ocampo. My advice to her is: -DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT LADY!!!!!!!!!!!

She is what i would call BURE KABISA.

Was this witness 4 dropped because he recanted his testimony after bribery or his testimony was inconsistent (being present in state house and later on the same document saying he heard there was a meeting from a mungiki member and was never present) or both. I am a bit confused here.

Aii! This witness number 4.

He was bribed to give a false statement and now he has been bribed to recant the same statement.

Bensu amechanganyikiwa...........na bado.

The whole case is a fraud and will cramble along the way.

At this rate, Bensouda will put the Nyayo house holes and the corrupt magistrates in the Kenya of 1980s to Shame..... How can she...talk of bribaery and not charge anyone or reprimand someone..
Bure Kabisa...Shows she is playing to the galary of the west

ICC postpones Ruto, Sang trial

Quote:
Trial Chamber V of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has temporarily postponed the date of the trial’s start in the case of The Prosecutor v. William Samoei Ruto and Joshua Arap Sang.

The chamber has however conveyed a public status conference on 14 May 2013.

The court said that a new date for the trial’s opening will be scheduled after hearing the parties and participants’ observations during the status conference.

“The Chamber will also hold non-public ex parte status conferences with the Prosecution on 7 May 2013 and with the Defence on 14 May 2013, to discuss these issues and other procedural matters,” read a statement from ICC.
