so many movies are made in Kenya these days. Mpaka ile ya gari ya Moi disappearing then car ngumu anapatikana nayo! Let's wait and see
.....what's your take on the ward results in Eldoret North and kakamega???
Same as above, it does not necessarily mean TNA and ODM are the popular parties there. It could mean the candidates were stronger and since the electorate didn't mind the parties they were in, they gave them the votes! Big surprises would be TNA winning in Homa Bay or ODM winning in Murang'a

Kajiado North has never really been predictable especially in 2007 when Sakuda (while in ODM) almost won the seat. @ Mc Reggae......I'm not really sure about that, i've been watching UK and I've not really picked up anything on his presidential bid in the campaigns he's had so far. I still maintain Mdvdi will be the compromise candidate especially if there will be a run-off. Its too early to endorse anyone, infact i think all the G7 Presidential candidates will be on the ballot paper then they'll endorse one of them to face OAR in the run-off. MK voters have already started warming up to Mdvdi, he's candidate came second in Kangema. Btw what happened to the MSP candidate?

Ole Sakuda was always going to win this post as I predicted in my 1st post in this thread, the guy did a superb campaign in 2007, Saitoti had to pay him to drop the petition, with his votes and the ones UMK brought on board nobody was going to match him!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

You mean Maina Njenga's "5 million members" could not deliver the Kangema seat?
Anyhow, since Maina Njenga is such a major force in Mount Kenya region, the Mkenya Solidarity Movement candidate (read Mungiki Reloaded) must have come a close second.
You mean he didnt? Well, in that case he must have come in a respectable third.
Don't tell me he could not make 3rd place! Anyway, it is obvious that such a major party would place at least fourth even when things are really, really bad.
You are joking! You mean he didn't even come in fourth place despite Maina Njenga's "clout"?
Message to Raila Odinga - Choose your friends and allies carefully. Don't risk dancing with thugs only to get zero traction.

He got 14% of the votes, that's quite something considering Muranga is one of UK's strongholds.....compare that to what happened in Ndiwa! I agree with you that whoever is picked to face OAR in the run-off will do it at UK's terms. He will be the one to lead the campaigns and definitely fund them......i think together with WR they'll need someone who'll look after their interests while they defend themselves at ICC.

some guys are only good at chest thumping! @gmg, Lolest!!! truth be told this is a consituency where Raila whoever he walks with will get very minimal support, hata kama ni PK ama MK.......I still remember in 1992 when Paul Muite being the 1st V/C of Ford Kenya got over 30K votes and jaramogi a paltry 2K, nothing seems to be changing here in the forseable near future!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

I would compare that performance to that of Kanu's Alila in Ndhiwa wh got about 10% despite Kanu having a presidential candidate at the moment!!! All in all I know Mdvd will be favourable in Central withour UMK in the equation, the worry is that he can't even consolidate his home support, losing the Bukura ward after camping there for 2 weeks!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Messi is quite unreliable. He's been telling people wherever he goes that a runoff is expensive and that it's only him who can deliver on the fast round. If he can't deliver a ward in his backyard, he can't win the big one even if he was give a 5th round runoff

PK na MK hawana support machinani. Muite's election in 92 was interesting: despite being in a FORD-A zone he bagged a seat for FORD-K. Jaramogi was not popular but Muite was.

@ Jump-steady......Didn't WR also lose to TNA in Eldoret, why are you so hard on Mdvdi? Besides it was close in Bukura the ODM candidate garnered 1,850 votes while URP's got 1,195. At the moment Mdvd is not a top contender in the general elections but an endorsement by UK would change everything including his influence in Western Kenya. I think at the moment the voters are not really sure about his chances.
"TNA also pulled a fast one on ODM in Nyamira county after Peter Onyango Mose clinched the seat after garnering1,079 votes against ODM's Charles Sagwe’s 1,069"
"In Nyanza, Wire Migwa ward, ODM’s Jevis Ochieng Oduor was declared the winner with 704 votes followed by TNA’s David Akuku who got 293 votes"

According to one political analyst Quote:@MutahiNgunyi If ODM won in Kangema, TNA in Nthiwa, that would be news. This victory was obvious. Its like saying Kikuyus and Luos are breathing.
Now lets wait for the main thing Kenya ni yetu sisi sote

There are those few who are extremely worried and scared with the reality that Son of Jomo will be their President come next General election.
Their attempts of character-assasination or their stupid assessment and prediction even after they had failed MISERABLY at ICC and predicably soon at our own Judiciary-ruling - That Uhurus name will not appear on the next General election Ballot papers, is their wishful thinking and we ask them to continues in believing THAT!
And to those who goes round on daydreaming that Uhuru will succumb to their stupid pressure and imaginations of him renouncing his candidacy for the Presidency seat and instead throwing his weight and support to one of the contender - Again we wish them to continues in their DAYDREAMING.
Meanwhile,TNA will continues its mission of working with people in grassroots and preparing itself for 2013 General election, and aiming to get the leadership of running the country.
The result of just concluded by-election tells you a lot. Watch-out! TNA is going to unite Kenyans under the leadership of Uhuru Kenyatta - Mwende kana Mutiende, Amen!

I just wanted him to show us what he is made of. He has been unable to teach the people down there of this dance he calls "Shienu ni shienu" - whatever it means! This dance according Khalwale and company is mean't to bag MDVD sackfuls of votes
