it seems to me that everybody seems to misunderstand the fella segemias contention...

if i read correctly the fella is probably saying that kenya is so full of endless possibilities that people could possibly engage in to alleviate their poverty and uplift their living standards...

unfortunately we are not looking at these possibilities, but all our thinking is converged towards the past land injustices. we all know who has grabbed and stolen what and the justice mechanisms in place so far might take care of that...

however, the past should not be a barrier or an excuse to our own technological, industrial and agricultural advancement...

That is precisely what I am talking about.

For all those members sharing the same thoughts twendeni tufanye kazi, let us forget about the past misdeeds of our forefathers and let us focus on the future for the sake of our children and country. Passing on blames and other uncalled for excuses from one generation to the next will take us to nowhere.

segemia or is it sehemu nyeti. we get your point. The thing is institutions have to be efficient and effective and everyone should get equal opportunity. while someone like moi steals land or allocates lands to his friends for a song or just calls NBK and gets a 2% loan which he will never pay while I am here toiling day and night to secure a 1/4 acre in Ngong and get a 25% interest loan and when I miss 1 payment they auction my business...then I have a right to Whine.tuko pamoja?

Hello wazua members.

Why do we keep on blaming other people and each other for our own inadequacies and shortcomings??? I really don't quite know, but i think we are either stupid, lazy or just accept that we were born poor and should remain poor.

I have been reading some threads here and their contents from the so called knowledgeable lot leaves a lot to be desired. Why?

1. When somebody tells us that when Kenyatta and Moi curved handsome tructs of land land for themselves more than 30 years ago that is when we were condemned to poverty or disadvantaged situation that is stupidity.

Do we have anyone here whose piece of land was taken by force by kenyatta or Moi??

Again there is still alot of land left in kenya (more than 60% is unoccupied). Why do you want that small one from K and M??? Kwenda fanya kazi and buy yours!!

2. When somebody tells us that the descedants of the Kenyatta and Moi are are thieves just because they inherited from their fathers that is stupidity.

Whom did they steal from?? That is their luck. You have every right to ask God why you were born in a disadvantaged background. Kwenda fanya kazi, you might have something your children too will inherit.

3. when somebody tells us that our area or constituency is under-developed just because "our man" is not being given that public office to run, kubafu! that is stupidity.

When your man is in that office his salary is his and his alone with his family. You never and will never appear even as an AOB in his salary budget. Go search the job market for where you fit and convince the job owner that you are the right person and you will earn a salary too.

4. When somebody tells us that they are poor and jobless just because most of the companies are owned by people from pluto, idiot!! that is stupidity.

They came and started from nothing and with what you had, nothing more. You must be silly not to realise the value of the vast resources lying idle under your watch. Kwenda fanya kazi, make your own company and start creating wealth and jobs for your people.

More, more, more and more stupidity...Bring it on.

your whole argument is retarded, cant be bothered to debate you coz you wont get it
