Hii mambo ya 100,000 is pure crap...i think such incentives should be declared before the match to motivate the players. Before the match Hussein had promised to give 50,000 for every goal scored by the Stars????

I am hopeful for Kenyan soccer if Hussein wins the election. Had the pleasure of meeting him and sure does sound he is in it for more than looting FIFA $$$.

Is there any channel airing the Nigeria v Kenya game tonite?

This is a belated comment but I must mention it nevertheless...someone suggested that had Mariga scored a winning goal in a CL semi final while having a similar earlier yellow card (assuming he was the heart of the Inter mid and played every game a la`Sneijder), he'd have not "forgotten" he was on a yellow and removed his shirt - especially with a coach like Mourinho watching on the byline....impulsive emotions or not!

That said, the first yellow was unnecessary from the ref.

I hope his absence does not return to haunt us...the defense needs work, twice a through ball right in the middle caught the central defense napping, we were luck second time around their striker shot straight at Origi otherwise it would have been the equalizer.

Personally I don't understand how we never make it to every ACN considering the teams we're normally pooled with...

@dossy7 asante.

Nigeria 3 Kenya 0!

Positives - "With a 4-2-4 formation, Nigeria failed to take control of the midfield as the Kenyan trio of Jamal, Mugabe and Mariga overshadowed the duo of John Mikel Obi and Joel Obi."

Negatives - Origi heroics kept the scoreline respectable but " Anichebe on 48 min, in a moment of brilliance , unleashed a powerful left-foot volley that caught goalkeeper Origi napping."

Poor finishing - "The Kenyan team were close to scoring in the 29th minute when goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba parried a shot towards one of their strikers, but he ballooned the chance."

............very valid point there. That says something about the player's attitude and what he thinks about the national team.
