Shocking!!!

What do you mean. H.E. the president has been campaigning for Amina. The AU job has been our top priority for the last few months.

For the next two weeks, voter registration. The natives can't vote if they never registered in the first place. Duh !!

After that we launch the arrival of the SGR passenger trains. In July we will launch the service again when they start operating.

Now a few dead soldiers in Somalia can wait. The same for the patients dieing in hospitals because the greedy doctors want more money.

One more thing. The drought. H.E. prayed and it rained in nyeri. Can you ask your governors to take a cue and lead countrywide prayers.

The government spoke ages ago. Where have you been? Or you don't consider the Ministry of Defence as govt? Or in your narrow minds govt is ohuru?

Don't be a child now, those dead soldiers deserve some respect.

I only heard one Col. Njuguna denying that the attack happened yada yada.. afterwhich I heard lots of silence from the Chief of Defence Forces, Defence Secretary and the President. What did you hear

Looking at El Ade and Kulbiyow, it is clear we have a problem stopping and crippling SVBIEDs.

But why, when we have had the weaponry (Milan anti-tank guided missile system) and many tactics to do just that in our armoury for decades?!
Surely if we can stop an enemy tank, then we can stop a rigged up APC that has been fabricated into a SBVIED !!. Si we know that is the enemies favorite attacking style?

MILAN ATGM

Even going further, we know that is their fav mode of attack meaning they have a good bomb-maker(or many) somewhere, so Military Intel should smoke these bastards out and neutralise them (preventive);
if an SVBIED actually is made and approaches a camp then be ready with wide spaced-trenches, hesco barriers and MILAN, and chopper gunships (we have so many of these) (reactive)

To me these Mariakani boys' were needless deaths, sth very amiss with our top brass. Shame on you Shame on you

Did you read the official statement above? Also the defence CS and Chief of defence forces personally consoled and comforted the affected families on behalf of govt and CIC. So what else do you want?

How about as much energy and resources as was applied to Amina's failed AU bid.
