which news?? the worst that can happen is civil war in Ukraine, not Russo-America war!!! and if this happens the pro west will loose badly because of three factors

1. Russia will donate equipment free to the pro-russia east, for as long as it takes. Russia needs no economic motivation here
2. Pro west are broke, cant buy any military equipment, and I cannot see the west (NATO) sustaining such a conflict through donations!!
3. If the east falls from kiev influence, they can manufacture their own equipment. remember the east is where majority of the industries are.

If I were in power in Kiev I would start visiting the east with sweet words, not a sword... and discourage the likes of Biden from setting foot in Kiev... those are the escalators!!

Russia is officially in recession primarily due to the effect of the first round of sanctions. It's economy is expected to grow by 0.2% this year. From 200-2008 average was 6%, 2012 3.4% and in 2013 1.3%. This was clearly a country on the decline economically before the annexation of Crimea. The second round of sanctions from the US and EU are going to hasten their decline. If they do not back down, they will pay through the nose.
