KK forms are trickling in!

The only catch is that Rubis is allowed to extend the offer until 30 July 2019 and that is something I would NOT want to see.

BUT I hope they choose the Stanbic route by having 2 payout dates.
All those who submit by 18th Feb get paid by 12th Mar.
Those who submit forms after 18th Feb get paid in round two say 3 weeks after the 2nd closing date.

I'm yet to get mine. Waiting patiently. Might give them a call soon

Image registers have confirmed posting my forms today through an sms alert but Iam impatient I might pop in their offices tomorrow to get others.

Why are we so slow in adopting technology? All they need is a valid email address from me - which they have since i have received their email, then they should offer an option of how they would want me to sign and submit my forms, either electronically or via snail mail.

When is the deadline to sign those forms?

SMS and e-mail that they will start delivering (by post) them soon. End of week?
And then 3 weeks to submit the forms. No rush smile

The purchase of kk by Rubis is on a standstill

The timing of this buyout will afford immeasurable liquidity to shareholders vis a vis the state of the market. The returns obtained from KK not withstanding the best part is getting to pick off the market at its (near) lows. The 6 years hold was worth the wait.
The main purpose of the stock market is to make fools of as many people as possible.

I got an sms yesterday informing me my forms have been mailed. I will miss my dear KK. He he he.

I will throw that money at some nice counters so that I can continue enjoying the power of compounding!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

true. Which counters would you recommend? I can't seem to find any? Thinking of putting the cash in safaricom and kcb or equity. The investable counters seem to be very few

The register of this share should be stopped.

If you have doubled your money, spare a thought for me. I bought at ksh 53 (before the 10 for 1 split) making my buy price ksh 5.30. Though there has never been a bonus, the dividends were good and adequately covered the inflationary effect.smile smile I'm now thinking of putting the proceeds in KPLC...buy when there is blood in the streets....

That statement is misleading. But I understand the excitement.

Link: Post #205. Down memory lane

Thank you ever so much @vvs (the main driver) and the other co-drivers of this bus!!!

At 50/= pre-split, that was a buying price of 5/= per share. That is a return of 500% including dividends in 8 years.

I love this long term sh!t. Good thing I don't listen to kelele ya chura. As people were busy making fun of us and calling us gamblers in the NSE "casino" tings were cooking. Laughing all the way to the bank!!!
