I dont see mashamba having anything in the US. His kids are Kenyan educated save for one who was educated in Aussi. So this is likely to net others not WSR

Has anyone considered the possibility that the handshake was an Uhuruto strategy.

They sat down and hatched the plan, "The best way to tame this guy (Raila) is for us to look like we are fighting so let us do this, I will call you tangatanga then I will invite him for a handshake then I will give him a job with Africa Union... si you know the way he likes titles. But we have to get rid of that Miguna guy kwanza because he is the one who makes him difficult to deal with. Let us try and keep him in the box until just before the elections then I will change my mind and support you. Tuko pamoja my brother."

You know the saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Who can forget Uhuru fuming, "Mimi sina shida na wajaluo, shida yangu ni mtu mmmoja tu." If you believe he was sincere then and today he is enjoying the handshake, what makes you think Ruto is still not his man?

It is a possibility, but it looks quite remote.
Sounds more conspiratorial than anything else.

Help me understand why UMK would 'rusha' Ruto in 2022?

Why do you see it as 'rusha'!
Why not look at it as doing what seems right for Kenya under the current circumstances - 'rushwa' iishe.

Why is Tuju being crucified coz of that recorded tape with Nyanja regarding kiambaa church?

Voting is personal.

Personally I shall never forget Kiambaa church.

There is nothing I have seen from the William guy to make me think that they are remotely remorseful. In fact all I have here is Masukuma saying he's going to vote one way so that no more babies are burnt in a church.

Who leaked the call?, it can't be SG or Hon Nyanja.
I don't like Mashamba but I think all this is happening due to Ouru's poor or lack of firm leadership.

Me think one of the thing that will forever haunt Ouru after 2022 is not because he did not leave any legacy to talk about, but the fact that he once held power but did nothing with it. It will be too late.

It's sad that the kiambaa attack has been reduced to an incident where even the leaders from the community that suffered use it to gain political mileage. I was saddened when I heard the recording and I still can't imagine the kind of hearty laughter I heard when they talked about the victims. Tuju must resign.

Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

I agree with you that Tuju and Nyanja need to take responsibility of playing politics with such
an emotive issue.
And it is a disgrace that those who perpetrated Kiambaa attack are still roaming around our beloved country free, and with Impunity.

All we ever hear is Kiambaa this Kiambaa that, while the Naivasha killings seemed to be largely ignored, intentionally.

As @smoano said "two wrongs never made it right, Kenyans we need to see the writings on the wall or else could be worse"

This man in the story calling himself Salim Abdalla seems to be a paid witness to give a narrative based on cooked up evidence to incite war. When this man said he saw young men with pangas... that is when I realize he is just readin a narrative. We all know who use pangas. You all know who use arrows. You all know who use mkukis...

I told you before that I was in Eldy that time myself on business trip after voting, trapped I couldn't leave. Here is the story..

On that fateful day... early in the morning, there was one athlete practicing in the morning, and unfortunately past the gate of the church he was waylaid and hacked to death. Again at around 10am, there was a couple who had managed to go fetch their two stranded children from school, again outside the gate of the church, they was stopped and the set on fire while all the four were inside the car! The news spread around and guess what happened next... angry crowd arrived from all over around shouting "kumbe people taking refuge in the church are actually killers"... The attack followed... It was an unfortunately event.

Of course this was not good. What followed was hacking that we saw in Naivasha, while police watched. This is what seems to be ignored intentionally. Nobody says two wrongs make a right. No! But we must condemn the drums of war which we are seeing being peddled around.
