In other words... put on make-up to get hitched If an announcement of acquisition and other peripheral projects that add value come up, I will jump in as quickly as practicable without waiting for a plunge in price. Typically, when an acquisition of a listed firm is announced, the trading of its shares is suspended. I do not know what you mean by 'peripheral projects' in this case. Whenever I read a comment I easily know it's spike without checking on who commented. Many misplaced vocabularies/ financial terms I think practicable is actually a word. Just spoken I think Foresight..

Even by Kenyan (very low) standards, hapana!!! Reminds me of a line from a black uhuru (I think) song. "If you are sitting in a market place and you are neither a buyer or seller... you will find yourself being subject to bought or sold". Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

It's sounds like it's KPC who is owed??? Or its the journalist Aguy you made me click on that link BD wrote:The auditor-general says that a Sh4.1 billion debt that oil marketer KenolKobil has owed Kenya Pipeline Company for years should be provided for in the State corporation’s books as a doubtful claim.
“The balance of Sh10.6 billion as at 30th June includes an a mount of Sh4.1 billion due from an oil marketing company, dating back to year 2009 that is subject of a court dispute. It has not been possible to confirm whether or when the company will be able to recover the amounts due from the oil company,” Mr Ouko said on his audit opinion for KPC for the year ended June 30, 2016.

Quote: Auditor-general Edward Ouko: "It has not been possible to confirm whether or when the company will be able to recover the amounts due from the oil company". Auditor-general Edward Ouko: "It has not been possible to confirm whether or when the company will be able to recover the amounts due from the oil company". Time is money, so money is time. It could also be the accountant who might have misread the judgement and took it to be in favour of KPC. He went ahead and booked revenue and a recoverable from KK. Now the auditor has discovered this and instead of admitting the error, he pretends that KPC has a doubtful claim that needs to be reclassified. Welcome to Kenya. Time is money, so money is time.
