When I hear people mention Moi "Error" kind of corruption, I am not surprised. Who is Gladys Shollei? She is wife to Shollei who is the MD of Standard Group. Who is this Shollei at Standard Group. He is the guy who was allocated a TV Broadcasting licence during the Moi error when he did not have the resources to start a TV station when serious media houses at that time like nation group could not get a TV broadcasting license from the Moi Government. The TV broadcasting license was only available to government run KBC and Moi Owned KTN.

The nation media had to silently negotiate with Shollei to buy his TV license. I think he was offered money plus some senior employment position at Nation. This was corruption to already.

The Guy is now working in Moi's media house as the MD. This is the same media house who have been so unbalance on issues regarding the wife. Kweli Mafia is at work.

The figures being mention in that report are crazy. Kumbe as we toil in the office, guys out here are making deals in birrions. Corruption in Kenya will never end. Sad Sad Sad

I have said it. Those are 'figures without shame' if I may write in my mother tongue. And the President has just told us that kulipa ushuru is a citizens duty. I am not sure whether he mentioned that it is also his duty to ensure that those taxes are properly utilized.
