Trump is right. Good to have someone who speaks the truth instead of trying to be politically correct. And by the way wazuans have for ages been saying what Trump has just said, like in the many threads on this forum where wazuans ask why Africa remains a shithole while the rest of the world moves forward.

Mr Kiraithe on Thursday told journalists that the statement by President Trump were not directed to Kenya.

“The statement was not an official matter that, say, is related to the relationship with the government. We enjoy a cordial relationship.

“We are studying the context in which these statements were made and see whether it is worth the attention,” he said.

Methinks Kiraithe did the right thing under the circumstances.

if he had to talk and not want to annoy trump then the best call would have been to say that trump has denied ever saying those words and so he can't comment on them.

I like it.

Trump is the best gift for Africa. He is telling us and rightly so that it is time for Africans to put Africa first, just like US and UK are putting their interests first.

For the last 300 years Africa has been taken advantage of, lacked ambition.

It's about take we take our place at the table.
