Misery for the traped investor, just 7.5m. my suggestion is @obiero should advocate sale of one Royce Royce engine and come into their rescue by buying them off decently. Who knows, you may turn a few to die hard customers and make money along the way. In any case its better than loosing both; investor and customer.Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Just 7.5m at current price, but what if we get back to KES 126

When will it hit 126/- ...Tell me please I jump in...

It may never or it just could surpass.. With stocks it's always a matter of chance and the best bet belongs to the one that bears the best information

That rise has to be supported by a major competitive advantage.

KQ has a major competitive advantage in Africa. We can point to hub status, lower fuel burn per kilometer, human resource, fleet age, traveller affinity..

Hype, buying hype has a direct relationship to eating humble pie. Hii pesa ni yangu, sio ya mama. I dont buy hope and hype coz that's the gateway to poverty. I stick to my rules and guns this far.

Yes. The music can stop while you are inside.. Without proper information, one should not attempt to trade on KQ. Anyway, today we closed again as top gainer 9.35% up, KES 5.85.. Used KES 435,000 to pump into this thing just 2 weeks back after receipt of vital information. Trust me the vibrant increase in price is tied to news, upcoming major news

Too little too late.
Did he have to wait for 60 days to issue the apology.
I guess JJ have realised they are receiving very low bookings of late and even for the easter festivitiesApplause Applause Applause

Oh really? So people are booking on which other airline? BTW, JJ issued an earlier apology.. The current notice serves to inform that we now have an extra plane

Surely @ericsson.. People who don't know industry players such as Capt Kibe or Mr Andersen will comment anything.. How many planes does Fly 540 operate and daily frequency carried into Coast i.e Mombasa, Ukunda, Malindi, Lamu

Fly540 does 5 flights Nairobi-Mombasa daily.
KQ can have all those top names but its insolvent;negative equity.
It's borrowing more than what it's repaying.
It's surviving coz of GoK guarantee and Mr Muthaura of CMA having being told to go slow on it.
Otherwise it's in the category of bandia firm.
The spike in prices been seen are just speculative
nothing tangible underlying.

Interesting analysis.. Very deep. I agree with you KQ indeed is bandia, especially it's low revenue of over KES 110B per year which is very similar to HAFR, Uchumi & Mumias. Further the KQ Chairman is also a very dim fellow with no tangible corporate achievements

So called speculative price spikes will earn some traders returns.. The aim of trade in stocks is to make money.. Tomorrow KES 6.20 prints. I will not sell below KES 8

It doesn't matter how much revenue you are making.
Ksh.110bn or ksh.1 trillion revenue doesn't matter if you are just making losses at the end of the day till you reach negative equity.
Better a firm with revenue of ksh 7bn and profit of ksh.1bn and positive equity.
I can bet with Michael joseph will bolt out soon when he realises reviving KQ ain't that easy.

@ericsson to make money at the NSE, you do not wait to see the stock alive and kicking. You must purchase when it's looking all done and dusted, but with positive signs of life. KQ is exactly at inflection point

I do not need to know the industry players, I count the birds in the air and loaded with goodies. Let not integrate and differentiate a simple matter like this using complex innuendos as @obiero wishes to suggest. Birds are growing dust by the runway.Sad
