Just called my broker tells me bids are for 1.6 and asking is is 5 and no trade at all so we might need to wait for a little while. i think the price might be affected when gok put their rights in the market ata very low price, that might determine the share price as well but looking at the supply today of kplc shares i don't think this share will go lower than it already went.

Thanks for this info. i wonder when the Gov rights will be put on the market.

I'm sure their advisers are studying the market first.

oh, oh. that can turn out bad, now that some trades have been done at 4.50. they may feel less obliged to quote a much lower price, than we expected.

IMHO, the only rights that will be up for grabs are for the Retail LIs, and these are very negligible.
Knowing Mbaru for a while, i tell you this stock is one to watch!

@SPT, I said that 'i don't trust JM and @vvs reserved his(r) comments'. Premium of 4.50! now. Will it sustain.

The rights have to be traded well below 4/=. The guys buying will also be looking at making some money. At 4/= there's precious little margin left for them. I know I wouldn't buy at this price and I do not expect the Old Mutuals, Morgan Stanleys & Renaissances of this world to do so either.

It will probably drop from 4.50 to 2-3/- but no guarantees!
What I am sure about is that 19.50 or lower is BULLSHIT BY PEOPLE WHO TYPE IN CAPS AND SAY SELL,SELL, SELL BECAUSE I AM YBIGSHIT...

They have over 300m shares to move. Believe me they will come down willingly or by force. They have no choice. 4/- is too expensive.
