Robert Alai OnyangoBy appointing Ruto acting president , there is a constitutional breach in the spirit of the law. The President is saying he can choose whoever he wants to hand over power to. Secondly, the law does not provide for how Ruto hands over power back to him. And three the office of the presidency is complete with both the President and Deputy President position constitutionally filled .
In this regard, the Supreme Court should provide interpretation of Constitution on presidency to avoid lacuna and abuse of power.
