when stocks go down like this, we need not panic. look at britam it sunk to 4.00 from 9.00.
we should concentrate on whether this company is profitable, will it continue to grow profits, can we trust management. if all these are positive. buy the shares and ignore the noise.

I saw Migaa advart in yesterday's paper and I am convinced this will become a very profitable venture. I expect this thing to revover eventually especially after a series of results.

@Vitu... you have so much hatred for the national carrier. Have you seen in their fb that kq was "recognized as one of the top ten most improved airlines in the World and among Africa’s top 5 airlines by Skytraxx"

Back to HAFR, whether a pump and dump or hold, its day will come, and you know it.

Laughing out loudly @VVS at times it's also good to know the sentiments of the die hards. The calculations on paper loss or averaging down and when must be going on daily..

@vvs - on 20/02/2012 britank as it was called then while it was taking it in the chin post listing closed at 3.80/- all time low.

Btw the current britak cartoon shows a classic blow-off top pattern. Very steep ascend (parabolic) from 17.50 level since June 2014. Panafric had a steep rise in Feb and topped...

Guys here have been having a good discussion with HomeAfrika. I am beginning to trust @hisah. If you read through this thread from the beginning, this chap has been very consistent.

Not very sure about @guru Laughing out loudly ....but still, investing in the stock exchange is probabilistic.

No matter how good the information there is a chance you can loose money...however there is a higher chance on loosing money on some counters and HomeAfrika is proof of that.

Do not trust me. Do your own due diligence... Otherwise the market will drain all your money.

No hard feelings. I do miss the back and forth of @guru and @obiero. Talk of bad investments... I listed them out somewhere. My bete noir is Olympia run by one useless and crooked Michael M Matu.
And whereas the folks at HAFR may not be like MMM, I have no knowledge to indicate otherwise.
As for KQ, as many have argued, the management has no stake in the business. And it shows. Compare to:
Pradeep Paunrana of ARM
James Mwangi of Equity
Benson Wairegi of Britam
Bharat Thakrar of ScanGroup
Nelson Kuria of CIC
Gideon Muriuki of Coop
Chris Kirubi of Centum
Martin Oduor-Otieno of KCB (former)
Bob Collymore of Safaricom
Frank Ireri of HFCK

MMM has shares in Olympia but decided it was more profitable to steal from the other shareholders. Add to that he is an incompetent manager!

I do not know Lee Karuri and his colleagues in HAFR. Hopefully, they will come through for the other shareholders of HAFR. Please remember that it is NOT the fault of HAFR's directors that shareholders went in to buy HAFR shares at crazy high prices without doing their research. What I will fault the directors is not being up-front with the accounting conventions used to declare huge profits before they were earned.

Thanks! Wow... at 4/- it was a bargain basement bargain!!! Anyway, if I had a crystal ball... Drool Drool Drool
Please explain the "blow-off top" pattern. And do you see this AFTER the share has zoomed up or before it starts climbing?

You know these shares were going at 1.20 bob as recent as last year?
Ouch! Which mean Paka, Mumias & Olympia will soon have another friend!

I got in today at 9.05... My average is now down to 10.85! Total of 28k shares...

You must have bought bucket loads at 9.05! I will only look this share when it goes to around KShs 5.
