Wooow!!!.....Great place to holiday. Took the family there by road and stayed at Munga Eco and Protea. Mukuni park curio market is also a must before you leavesmile

this country is beautiful, alot of unexploited opportunities, toursim here can be a great thing. but they need to sort out transport. flights are too expensive here. but yes....road trip is the real deal when you want to see the beauty of the place.

We did a chopper fly over the falls and then i thought they were fair since i paid kindu 220 dollars a skull.BTW,there is a "cousin" of Mr. Guillotine (Sagana,you remember?) at the falls. Consider a jump...smile

@Njung'e, could you possibly share the itenerary for that road trip. Wouldn't mind one of those. Nairobi to Victoria falls sounds like a cracker.

Please share timelines, directions and where to chill out. My kids will hate me but I am gonna do one of those some day soon.

@Obi,

Day 1 - Nairobi- Moshi - 360Km
Day 2 – Moshi - Dar - 560Km
Day 3 – Dar – Tunduma via Morogoro,Ipogo and Mbeya – 1020
Day 4 – Tunduma – Kapiri Mposhi – 800Km
Day 5 - Kapiri Mposhi – Lusaka via kabwe – 130Km
Day 6 – Lusaka - livingstone via Monze and Choma – 490Km
If you are a road warrior, you can reduce travel days by 2. The trick I used then was to tail a Scandinavian bus out of Dar all the way to Lusaka. A second driver is a must if you are to make it and the trip is not for the faint hearted Pray but it’s worth!
NB
I have given a rough estimate of distances, You would need to confirm the actuals but I don’t think I am far off .
