Waving placards and twigs, the youths, majority of whom were juakali craftsmen, demonstrated against the purchase, which has raised concerns of fraud by county executives. "We as juakali artisans have looked at those wheelbarrows; they can't cost more than Sh3,000," said their chairman Moses Wekesa. But speaking in his office on Monday, Lusaka said the wheelbarrows are a rare find and long-lasting. As usual people are missing the point! These wheelbarrows are the best thing that ever happened to Bungoma! Their use is limited to how creative you are! Apparently they have started being leased out to Newly weds! Boss - cheap is expensive!! These ones will carry brides maids for years to come and give the county government some much required revenue. C&P Governor:Everyone is getting this all wrong. What we have here is a special wheelbarrow with Ksh 105,000 in cash but for security reasons we have the cash in the safe. That's why the cost comes to Ksh 108,000.No money has been lost. Divers - can you laugh in scuba gear, or will you drown? I was wondering. - James May.
