guru, that's like half of the good companies at the NSE. I would narrow it down to, say two. I'd go with DTB and KCB/KK. Though with the latter, I'd hold for a longer period

i just cant believe that this counter traded at 100KES after the split. slowly it slumped to under 20. this gives me a consolation whenever i make any losses.

Most of this profit growth banks are registering are from a low base...remember in 2009 some of this banks reported a drop in profitability...i think at the current prices and looking into 2011 the banks are fully prices considering they have to make provisions for those high NPL...
