Could the recent fall in the NSE be because of KPLC rights issue??

can anyone get in if he is not a shareholder? When do books close?

you probably have only a week to get in or you can risk waiting for the rights on the market because not all of us will take up our rights

I still don't see why a shareholder (with the exception of govt) would not take up these rights. The way I see it, only govt rights plus a decimal amount will be available and I wouldn't count on getting the govt ones for a song.

BBI will solve it

Isn't KPLC trading today? I find it incredulous that not a single share has been bought/sold so far...

Most buys were tageting a 202-208 prices when th sell orders hoped for a 210 region price. In tommorrows trading, this would have been corrected and we'll see a more uniform trend.

..............And now its trading at 225/=. Was somebody deliberately trying to force an artificial low price lately?

Is there a phrase for the opposite of 'pump and sell'?
I use supress and buy.

Both of them are popular ways used to manipulate the market
