Kisia has failed totally.

I was in the lower part of town the other day and was appalled at what I saw. The place is filthy, looks like it was last swept when Gakuo was in office. The roads are not marked. There is no lighting. The vehicles do not respect Zebra Crossings and so the pedestrians just run across the road and hope to make it to the other side. You can actually see the fear in their eyes as they cross. They have absolutely no one to enforce the law. They are scared stiff and so gang up and just need one idiot to run across and they all follow.Hawkwers fill up the entire two lanes of Haile Sellassie. Mkokotenis rule the streets yet they are legally outlawed in the city. The drivers on the other hand believe that you have to 'Shtua' someone to give you way, who in turn thinks they should Never give way...The palce is dusty as hell due to not being swept.

You would think this is an obscure part of town. This was from the eastside of Moi Avenue. I went from Limuru Road, Ngara rd,down to the former Mungiki Roudabout ( Real Chaos begin)up the road that joins Jogoo Road, Haile Sellasie (shockingly dirty and hawkers on two lanes). I could not believe that I was in the same city when I joined Uhuru Highway!!!

We are all Nairobians. Everyone is entitled to order, a clean environment and Respect above all.

Yet Kisia's pet project is to issue 'smart cards' to CCN Staff.

SHAME ON YOU KISIA!

Watching the news today just leaves me wondering what priorities this guy has set for the city.
How can a street sweeping truck take precedence over improving the fire fighting facilities we have ?
