I think this qw250.... guy has a low self esteem. Why does he keep comparing himself to VVS?

@rymo forget about making quick cash at the nse, coz thats what you are asking. You only need to know one phrase 'margin of safety' google it, read, read read. Then buy kcb, keep it for 3 years, sell it in 2014 and go for a holiday.

hi,
thanks for the advice. i have traded befor and i dont think my question was regarding making quick cash. and also why do buy shares at the first plsce, to make cash i think. just a word.

Would suggest you take time to dig-up Wazua threads on any share you want to plunge into. It will give a generally good feel of what to touch and what not to touch.

@y the whipping he gets in the "best stock analyst" will humble him, but of course if he is that good we shall respect him. And what happened to buy, buy, buy... lol

Theres no short cut to success...take time to learn...

If you look at most of the posts, they rotate around this quoted statement..... taking time to learn and understand the stocks you pick is paramount.

No one can tell you for sure which stock is best to pick but if you dig out earlier posts, you will see lots of information (some that you will not get in their annual reports or their websites) that will help you with your pick. Give credit to many here that are very knowledgeable but ultimately, the decision should be yours.... there are people here who will tell you they have bought because of a buy buy buy buy post and they are still leaking their wounds... and others are on holiday....

Among the information you will find is some that you will need to ignore - you will need to know the difference.

Let me add, Mumias and NIC are my darlings.... am really hoping mumias could be ignored enough to hit 10 and i jump in again....

@Wendz,

I will touch MSC if I am assured that the Tana project will go on. I do not see how they will compete with the sugar from the comesa region given the high cost of sugar production from the region. Even if Msc will manage to buy Nzoia Sugar company, the situation will not change.

PKoli, what about the ethanol they will be producing from next year? That is as good a development as the co-generation

@youcan'tstopusnow,

I have not fully grasped the economics of the ethanol and its contribution to the company's bottomline. The cogen is reasonable, but I would like to analyse the performance in a year. I would like to have proper forensic analysis of the cogen revenue, its O & M costs and how much loan they are servicing. At the beginning they had a lot of operational challenges. I would also like to be convinced about the availability of bagasse to sustain the 35 MW plant.
