@Fundaah,

Save yourself some HeartAche. Considering Mwakwere did his Postgraduate Thessis on 'Urban Transport' or something close to that, doesn't he qualify to be Minister for errr..... On merit? This 'Vote YES so that we have qulified bla bla in office is all hogwash'

And did consider,

Amos Wako is a constitutional lawyer...even with all the 'nolle prosequi' stuff....

well said my brother.actually Wako was a well respected lawyer internationally.I think we are a case of a bad society that breeds bad leaders and not the other way round.We simply don't love our country enough.Why are yesteryear heroes participating in looting?

As an MP, we should leave the pple of Matuga to decide who they want to represent them in parliament if at all we believe in democracy. For cabinet as Minister for transport, he has had a bad record thus Kibaki should save us the agony but from past experience, Kibaki is likely to disappoint Kenyans once more, won't be surprised if the damn fellow retains his cabinet post.

Karibu masukuma....I fully agree with you on this one ....the people of Matuga have overwhelmingly spoken....though this may not be in resonance with the rest of kenyans....its their choice ....I fully respect it ....

Funda u are one consistent Kenyan.On Kalonzo,u were strongly for a good constituency level dvpt as the main yardstick.Judging from that,Matuga people might be right.We dont know what their experience with Chirau has been since 2003.My view is different.Every MP is a national leader and we entrust him to make laws for us and check the executive for us.We should then not be angry with Matuga people coz we have so many MPs whose only duty is to kula the big salos we give them.They do zero in parliament.

zipapa!! the people have spoken. what was the alternative? ODM? i don't think so. ODM is a passing cloud. Kibs should move the guy to something less critial ministry. i think he is popular with his people not kenyans. I salute the people of Matuga for going against the grain.

Can't blame Matuga people. Maybe the options before them were worse. Anyway I know of MPs in some constituencies who would make Makwere look like an angel and that includes my useless MP Ngumo.

BBI will solve it

-parliament approving appointments does not necessarily increase or reduce the quality of appointees. it only leads to an appointee that is popular with parliamentarians. not the same thing. for a recent reference see the super-sweet-salaries-saga
-cabinet secretaries not being members of parliament does not increase or reduce the quality of appointees.
you can quote me 5 or 10 years from now. even longer if you are the patient type.
have never said i oppose the draft. not sure what non issues you mean. whether wewe ni yes or no, jiepushe na misinterpretation and exaggeration.

who says the Draft is Bad....then just continue complaining ....
I would like to hear the voices of brewer , vuluku, Seeders, sokotele et al on this ....them that are telling us to say 'No' because of none issues....
