The list of the products we are boycotting is not yet out but this is the list circulating in my social media networks in NASA.

1. Brookside ; Ilara, Tuzo, Delamere, Molo and Brookside brands. All of them. Alternatives will be Fresha, KCC and a new serikal brand coming up.

2. Commercial Bank of Africa. Specifically the m-shwari brand. Alternatives include KCB-mpesa, Equitel, Tala, Branch, Mkopo rahisi.

3. Amarco insurance. Only parastatals insure with them but its on the list.

4. The heritage group. This is an upmarket brand but we are not going to voyager or any other of the group as well.

Just to be clear, the boycott is for businesses in whose interests this dictatorship is running. We shall support the peasant farmers in Githunguri but we want to see the market share stats of Brookside after 6 months.

In my household, the order has already been issued to madam and the housegirl. Anyone buying any of these milk brands, kutawaka moto. Same in the office. My shamba boy in Nyeri is to stop delivering milk to the collection centre. We shall sell to boda-boda brokers effective tomorrow.

Now lets see whether GSU will be unleashed in supermarkets to force us to buy their milk.

"Tutikaria irio ikiinye ndaa !!" "Heeee, nimwoka muno."

Isn't KCC run by government? Equitel=Equity=James Mwangi=supports Uhuru? KCB: government is a major shareholder? This boycott is stillborn

KCC belongs to Kenyans. Ditto KCB. We love these brands. When Equity was opening the Mbita and Bondo branches, Baba personally welcomed JM and asked the people to support the new kid on the block. We shall build it.

Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu account for 70% of Brookside sales.

"Usitukane wakunga hadi uzazi ungalipo."

You need to check with the rest of NRMs

Quote:
We expect all our MPs who have CDF accounts with Equity Bank to close them from tomorrow.
We also expect our schools that have fee accounts with Equity to close them immediately.
All county governments that pay staff through Equity and have have similar accounts with Equity to close them.
We expect all NASA leaning motorists to keep of Shell, Total, Oil Libya and Gulf oil. We must show seriousness this time round. No gain without pain.

Boycotts are really hard to pull. People do not have as much choice as they think they have. Men are the loudest political commentators yet have the least say in what products are bought in the house. Women and children decide what brands get bought. Women do not care who the owner of the milk company is for as long as price is good, it is available and little Onyango or Akinyi likes it because she likes the advert. The mzee can go for as many maandamanos as he likes against Ouru but if his little 5 year old princess Akinyi at home only drinks Brookside believe me Brookside is what will be bought.

RAO is many things but STUPID is not one of those. I listened to RAO's written speech and it suddenly hit me - HE IS ABSOLVING HIMSELF OF WHATEVER MAY HAPPEN. he is ON RECORD! SO whatever will happen will happen DESPITE OF HIM SAYING PEOPLE SHOULD "STAY HOME AND/OR HOLD VIGILS..blah blah blah". it's a well crafted back door to slip-out once a fire has been lit up. if ever there will be prosecution for whatever happens tomorrow (AND THERE WILL BE) - that speech (AS UHURU's IN KIKUYU DURING THE 2008 PEV WAS) will be his - Don't blame me... I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS... "THE PEOPLE" DECIDED TO ACT ON THEIR OWN VOLITION.

BRACE!! BRACE! brace yourself for IMPACT

The boycott, from TV stations to watch, Radios to listen to, service providers to use etc, will be good for upcoming and small start-ups to catch up with the big companies. New companies can set up base at the lakeside and reap on the new business opportunity

I thought @FRM is a well reasoned guy,...but hii yake ni ujinga on stilts, and its not cause I feel any particular warmth and kinship with the duo.
I hope its a brain fart, and it passes quickly or he is tweaking our noses and having a laugh.

DAMN I WAS DISAPPOINTED

Was waiting for a declaration of the Kavirondo Democratic Republic.

No major brands will be affected by his purported "resistance" of products and services.

Maybe the Njeris. (Baba must include this product if he is to be taken seriously)

This is the most primitive, barbaric and bizzare strategy one can attempt to employ to gain power in modern history. World over have not heard any leader worth his salt asking his supporters to bring down companies which give livelihood to the same people. I expected him to come up with ideas how to revamp the economy, but it appears he wants the opposite. Contrary to what i had proposed in the other thread, am now convinced that even the post of leader of majority in NA he doesn't deserve

You forgot to add:

If your landlord is from Jubilee strongholds, don't pay him rent.

If you need to travel use Nyanza Resistance Movement matatus.

If your employer is from Jubilee strongholds, boycott work.

More to come.
