Who is likely to be the leader of minority? This house will need a very serious, tough and thorough opposition.

Weta kwa Senate. I would prefer Mutula Junior here.

Same here, will prefer Mutula jnr. He is balanced, articulate and can reach out to both sides of the house

There are young men with good heads on their shoulders and if they avoid playing dirty and stick to the issues they can do good job of keeping the government on its toes. I am thinking of Mutula Kilonzo Jnr of Makueni, Moses Kajwang' of Homa Bay and Okoth of Kibra.

It should also be a great time for leaders in Jubilee to offer offer constructive criticism from within the party without being blindingly loyal to UK, Ruto or Duale. Jubilee Senator Kang'ata of Muranga and MP Kimani Ichung'wa should step up and release the party from the likes of Moses Kuria and Murkomen. I would love to see a truly independent Parliament.

That depends on whose agenda is being pushed. It will take some time before it happens, but we are on the right tracks.

So NASA MPs will attend the swearing in ceremony.

'Men in black' eject Raila ex-secretary from MPs meeting

Raila Odinga's ex-private secretary Noah Akala was ejected from the NASA Parliamentary Group meeting over alleged links to Jubilee.

Rowdy youths kicked, punched and threw Akala out of the coalition's Okoa Kenya Secretariat offices, in what was reminiscent of the dramatic ejection of former ODM executive director Magarer Langat from Orange House three years ago.

Raila and other NASA principals were attending the joint PG meeting when the incident took place.

The infamous 'men in black', who have consistently dented ODM's image, appeared to have extended their operations by targeting perceived Jubilee moles within the larger NASA family.

“You are a Jubilee mole. Come here, get out and go to your masters,” one of the youths who appeared to commandeer the team yelled as Akala pleaded for mercy.

His pleas fell on deaf ears and he was thrown out of the premises in Lavington.

Useless uncivilized goons.

Meanwhile the threat to boycott swearing in was just hot air. They cannot survive without that Salo.Even the chief goon needs them there so that they can contribute to his monthly upkeep.

Most likely, after being sworn in and therefore salary guaranteed, they will do a new operation firimbi and then walk out shouting Tibim, Tialala, Uhuru must go and our usual expletives.

Ken "Johnnie Walker" Lusaka. He should lead a prayer like this to open the Senate.

I can see how he became good friends with Kamwana.

Negotiations going on among Jubilee Mt. Kenya side who are to take it. Kindiki feels it is a junior position to his previous leader of majority!!!!

That's not true, by the time the decision was made to have Kindiki, the deadline for application to be deputy speaker had passed. Kindiki had not applied to be deputy speaker as he thought he would keep his majority leader position. But Lusaka being a first timer in parliament needed a strong deputy who has a law background and it was agreed Kindiki is the right one in the Jubilee parliamentary group meeting. So all others had to withdraw yesterday.
