Uasin Gishu farmer Jackson Kibor has sued two of his sons for causing him distress and tainting his reputation.

He said his sons' claims that he tried to shoot them led to incarceration that limited his freedom. Kibor's latest case comes barely a week after he filed for divorce against his third wife.

Which ghosts?

2007 PEV. He funded militia.

@harrydre this is unfounded allegation. Possibly one of those lies picked from Kameme FM. No one sponsored PEV.

Who do you think was funding purchase of machetes, bows & arrows, petrol to burn houses and militia transportation? There was even payments by houses burnt and kills. Malipo ni hapa hapa.

Who use machetes? When I travel to Uasin Gishu, I don't see any machetes.

And for bows and arrows, who purchased for the below guys? Don't you know they make them themselves?

Do not divert... Now one says there was no burning... Yes houses were burnt, but that does not mean it was Kibor who financed it. This is what I'm disputing with you. It is @mawinder who was spreading that lie..

NOTE: By the way, no one was killed during that fracas until that terrible day on 1st Jan 2008! I can tell you today that no leader was responsible for the burning. It was a mob reaction after their own, an athlete who was running early in the morning was killed outside the church, and the killers ran back into the compound. Link

Veteran politician Jackson Kibor has been caught up in yet another row amid accusations of eloping with the wife of a 38-year-old man in Eldoret.

Isaac Kosgey has recorded a statement with the police in Eldoret on OB No. 56 saying the businessman took away his wife of 17 years under unclear circumstances.

Mercy Sultan, 30, has been missing for the past two weeks. She left with their two children.

Kibor, however, denied the allegation but admitted that he knows the woman. The 86-year-old spoke to the Star on the phone when contacted for comment.

Kosgei, an Equator flower farm worker, says he has been suspecting that Kibor has been moving with his wife. "He often gave her lifts in his car."

"Kibor’s relationship with my wife started two months ago and I suspect they met at her workplace," Kosgey said.

The woman works at a shop dealing with herbal medicine where Kibor has reportedly been frequenting.

But the politician said his age could not allow him to elope with someone’s wife further affirming that he did not know of Mercy's whereabouts.

"Yes, I know her and I once gave a lift just like any other friends whom I know," he said. Kibor who has four wives.

I have just listened to Mzee Kibor's speech at the men’s conference in Eldoret this week! Nice, wisdom!
He really uplifted the women's status in a manner every man should listen and learn.
