After seeing Britain suffer in isolation?

No one else is leaving.

Unless the initial market reaction is overdone, and they come out fine.

Britain always had a foot out. Not part of Schengen area, kept out of the Euro.

Maybe Switzerland, Norway and Denmark.

These other people, divorce will be more painful. Trying to change your currency and regaining control over monetary policy, that'll be tough. It's probably why a Grexit didn't happen.

Yet some insist on dying on their knees yet they were living on their feet!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

First thing, Global companies set up in Britain will move out pap! "Home grown" ones might also follow or move some of their operations. Why pay 35% tax (among other taxes) to get products manufuctured in Britain to the rest of Europe??? And restrictions on staff movement, taxes on raw materials etc. etc. Better move to one of the other EU countries.

Wacha hivyo wanasema Eastern Europeans are taking up their jobs. They will be left with no jobs to be taken from them!!!

As I said, jobs to be moved out of Britain to Europe. The numbers in the financial sector are mind boggling! Choices have consequences!!

smile The tie up is that they have two good years to ensure clearance. That is long time and everything will move on well hence encourage other states to follow suit.
The wedge Brexit has brought is good for other countries espec those outside Europe.
Russia and China have hailed the bold move as wise as is a way to remove protectionism.
Lets not have Africa as the "Baby to be Fed". We should as President Uhuru put it move on our own and do inter African trade and create our wealth.
If we stay like babies to let UK "feed" us then we will wait for them to exploit what we have for their benefits and we shall remain babies

The slide to miscellany continues for the once mighty empire that controlled 25% of the earth. After losing the dominions, colonies, protectorates and now their partnerships it's no longer "Great Britain" but "Little Britain". UK is the rich kid at the playground with fancy (nuclear) toys but no friends. will he turn to former friends of the commonwealth for comfort or will he become the playground bully like the isolated Germany of the 20th Century? only time will tell.
Life is short. Live passionately.

After BREXIT comes REGREXIT!!!

3.5 million people have already signed a petition for a new referendum! That is 30 times more signatures than required.

Those who voted for the exit facing "buyers remorse" after it turns the were fed on a bunch of lies - like that they give £350m to the EU and this would be channelled to the NHS (National Health Services) after the exit. They now realize that the exit might actually have absolutely no effect on migration.

People complaining online of being misled and lied to but it might be too late.

It also turns out Boris Johnson - the leading voice of BREXIT - might not have really believed in the exit and didn't even believe it would go through and was actually pushing so hard as part of a political fight with Prime Minister David Cameron!!!

The First Minister says Scotland has to remain in the EU. Scottish people voted overwhelmingly for a stay in Europe and one of the reasons they voted against independence was to stay in the EU.

The Scottish First Minister is exploring a number of options including vetoing UK from leaving the EU, Negotiating with EU directly to remain in the EU and of course another independence referendum.

Meanwhile, no one wants to trigger the actual leaving of the EU. Nobody wants blood in his hands. David Cameron resigned and left the unenviable job to his successor. The Brexit camp doesn't also seem to be in a hurry - their pronouncements don't match with the enthusiasm and urgency they had while campaigning for BREXIT!!!
