This 'power to eat' concept has been ingrained since kenyatta and mo1 days. Most of politicians in cord and one wing in jubilee fall in this category. What we need is to find someone who has a skill and genuine interest to build the economy (like kibaki). Even if there will be abit of eating like this one? Surprised you're still keeping with this campaign. Martha or PK or Tuju can't make it in present day Kenya. You need fanatical or near mindless support of at least two large tribes, this you can only get if you manage to build consensus amongst mps, and other stake holders-large business owners and the mega corrupt. Pliz ask her to deal with these mindsets/challenges first rather than building castles in the air So we are just better with the duo, the tripartite seem worse with bribes, failure to pay debts and stealing from sugar companies.

If President Uhuru Kenyatta does not successfully deal with corruption and reduce it significantly, Kenya is done. It will be very hard to ever make a dent on bribery and corruption in Kenya. I think he is committed to this and he would want to achieve this. However he needs the support of the other institutions particularly the DPP and the Judiciary.
Unfortunately many people talking against corruption here and in many online forums are corrupt. It is a fact that you can't get a contract or a LPO from many private companies in Kenya without bribing the procurement officers in those companies. These are mostly middle class people who have to be paid something in private in order to allow you to supply goods and services to their companies. And many of them are here pointing fingers behind the screen.
Why can't we make a decision that we will not bribe anyone, that we will not receive a bribe from anyone who wants to supply companies we work for? That we are ready to pay the cost of being inconvenienced by the police and others for not bribing? How do you expect corruption to end in Kenya if you have to bribe a policeman for a minor traffic offense?
Do we really care about our country or we just talk for the sake of talking? What kind of Kenya do you want to leave behind to your children?
Pray and Support President Kenyatta on this one. If he fails Kenya will fail and it will be much harder to recover in future.

First casualty - Quote:The senior company executive at the centre of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula’s BAT bribery scandal yesterday resigned from the East African Breweries Ltd.
Julie Adell-Owino left BAT five months ago to take up a new job at the brewer as director of corporate and marketing affairs.
Yesterday, BAT said in a statement: “We do not tolerate corruption in our business, no matter where it takes place.”
The company dismissed the bribery expose by BBC, attributing it to former employees it alleges were sacked under “acrimonious circumstances.” - See more at: http://www.the-star.co.k...abl#sthash.Q8ky56Ib.dpuf
