HIYO NI KALI SANA! 33KM in 3 months (for a Class C road) whilst a certain contractor is now in year 4 of a 10 km link road!

Let him break each and every rule in the book as long as its beneficial to Machakosians, machakosans, Machakosisian, macha...., arghhh, Wakamba wa Machakos!

In my view it better to do anything positive than to fantasize on how it can’t be done...for the guy who travel this road and dies within the three months ..image the report he will give ...excellent. Once Moi asked Kenyans why they wanted permanent houses when they were themselves not permanent...looks like he was right.

Our great great grant fathers used to build house with grass and mud...and .. the had a good night sleep

I thought this was the model county in Kenya!
Not talking Not talking

Things are really elephant in mayakos. But the gorvenor has brought it to himself. From what am hearing getting a second term is now almost an impossibility.

First the governor overrides all procedures. As it stands, an LPO from machakos county is just a piece of paper. Anyone who has done business with gava knows funds are usually set aside in the vote book before an LPO is issued. Now in machakos, they do not have a vote book. They spend whatever they have in whichever project the governor wishes. Picture this, 80% of those fancy projects we have been admiring were not budgeted for. Including the people's park.

And now they are struggling with the wage bill. They are hopping from bank to bank trying to borrow but without a sovereign guarantee from central govt, its proving hard.

Then with all these skeletons, the governor starts a war with the senator, MPs, his deputy governor, MCAs, and as if those wars are not enough, he leans towards jubilee in a Cord zone.

Ati getting a second term for Mutua is what? Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

I guess Kenya is the HQs of naysaying and pessimism. Alfie will leave a positive mark regardless of whether he overlooked some procurement rules or gave all the tenders to his sisters. Before I throw a stone, I take a cursory look at my county and get ashamed..........

She was a Mutua critic at one time i remember asking her if she asked tough questions when it was found out that Ugenya had the worst managed CDF in the country. Of course i wasn't answered.
