Watched the Brazil one, very very sad. But having 12 kids knowing full well your economic situation...sometimes you wonder.

in a situation with poor social services, especially healthcare and social support, many kids ensures some will at least survive to adulthood and, hopefully, support the parents in their old age.
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

There's a documentary about two kids traveling from Mexico to the US called "Which way home". Similar to the Mexico one. Very sad!

Tony Comiti has done a great job producing those documentaries. I wish our journalists can get to his level.

This country should be divided into three countries, shed a bit of land to Rwanda and Burundi. The natural resources they have should be used to develop whole of Africa. What is the point of Africa producing expensive electricity whereas river Congo can manage to light up whole of Africa? Congo will remain hungry/poor until someone bold enough decides to act.

You mean bold enough like Patrick Lumumba? Kasin will have his head at the crack of dawn!

Anyone who has had a chance of travelling in and around DRC can tell you that,in comparison,Kenya is one piece of a very useless rock.Unfortunately,DRC is inhabited and ruled by idiots.Complete idiots.

True that. DRC, UG, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville...... very green. It bewilders me that DRC fellows can actually sleep hungry. Other than the blatant western interference, the residents are real goats!
